Sun rises on the TT table

GMPians take their TT seriously. That is why they chose the Diwali day to have the TT semi final & Final. Amid a lot of fanfare, Puja, sweets & crackers... we witnessed three cracking games. The four players had reached the top after beating the Saikats , the Xaviers among many others.

Sec A: Semifinal Sourav Vs Pracheesh (For junta too much into law,this is not a case)
Chop chop slow slow bang....
This was the theme. Sourav tried to make Pracheesh error and played defensive. He was thinking that it was futball and he was the defender. Pracheesh controlled his unforced errors to win in three sets.


Sec B : Semifinal Mohit Vs Suraj ( p.s this is not a case either....)
Huge crowd turnout and lot of support for both players. This three set match was a cliffhanger and in the end Suraj defeated Mohit, but both won for their effort and focus. The focus was a key in front of a belligerent crowd. One popular slogan chanted was a really confusing one.
" Jab tak suraj chand rahega, Mohit tera naam rahega"

Until sun & moon stay, mohit's name shall stay.


Grande Finale: Suraj Vs Pracheesh
The Sun rises in the east, but last nite after Sun Down, the mighty Suraj(sun) rose on the TT table to take the title for Section B. Pracheesh fought hard but Suraj played like a champion to be GMP 09 TT champ.
